OUR LAUNCH PARTY + IN CONVERSATION SERIES

Some four plus months ago I had a dream, and on Friday 4 November 2016 that dream came to life as we celebrated the official launch of the Central Coast Collective together.

The dream was simple enough, engage with my local community and meet inspirational entrepreneurial local women . . . and so at 11pm on 20 June 2016 I created a brand, whipped up a logo and Central Coast Collective was born with my first Instagram post @central_coast_collective.

The legendary Goodie Bags

Since that first post, there's been over 300 local business featured on Instagram, the Central Coast Collective website has launched and the first In Conversation Series event held. Like many of you, when I set my mind to something there's no stopping me, and that's ultimately what Central Coast Collective is all about.

Last Friday, as part of our Launch Party, we held our first In Conversation Series (and yes to everyone asking, will be holding our second #cccInConversationSeries early next year) where we featured four local Girlbosses; Christine, Adriana, Kath and Chloe. These four amazing women not only believed in my dream and agreed to take a leap of faith with me, but they gracious agreed to share their business journey with us on the night. (Thank you ladies, eternally grateful!) Life is ultimately about that, taking risks and chasing dreams ... I ask you, when's the last time you chased your dreams ?!!

In my eyes the evening was a huge success, and based on your feedback you agree, bringing together Girlbosses from different industries, from online and bricks+mortar businesses, from new business to established ventures ... all in one room, sharing exchanging ideas and conversation.

A big thanks must go out to all of the contributors that shared the vision and helped put together the event, the contributors to the (now!) legendary goodie bags, the lucky question time prizes and of course all of you for taking a punt and attending the event.

Living on the Central Coast since 2009, I thought it was time for something new, something different and something unique that celebrates and helps promote the #cccGirlboss . . . it seems you all strongly agree. Enjoy the video below, the photos, and buckle in, because this is only the beginning !!!
